KDE Management Starts the 2026 Season Strong at the Rolex 24H Daytona

KDE Management kicked off the 2026 motorsport season in style during the iconic Rolex 24H Daytona weekend, with four drivers competing across the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and MX-5 Cup championships.

Strong GT4 Performance in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge

KDE driver Samantha Tan raced in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge GT4 category, sharing the BMW M4 GT4 with Bill Auberlen. Despite technical challenges during The Roar Before the Rolex 24 and ongoing Balance of Performance adjustments, the team delivered a competitive package for race day.

Samantha qualified in the upper half of the field and gained positions during her opening double stint, showcasing composure and consistency. Her performance reflected the benefits of KDE’s off-season driver development programme, including mental, physical and nutritional preparation.

TCR Success for KDE Drivers

KDE was also represented in the TCR category by Maddie Aust and Bryson Morris, both driving for the Hyundai-supported Bryan Herta Autosport team.

Maddie and co-driver Mark Wilkins overcame early test-week challenges to secure a strong P4 finish, delivering a solid season opener. Meanwhile, Bryson Morris and co-driver Mason Philippe led more laps than any other TCR competitor. Despite late-race contact costing them the lead, they secured a P3 podium finish, underlining their championship potential.

MX-5 Cup: Grit and Race Craft on Display

In the MX-5 Cup, KDE driver Justin Gravett impressed in his first season with JTR Racing. After qualifying in the upper third, early contact forced a retirement in Race One. Starting 35th in Race Two, Justin charged through the field to finish P14, earning the title of biggest mover of the race.

A Confident Start to the Season

“I’m extremely pleased with all our KDE drivers. They showed great pace and demonstrated just how hard they’ve worked during the off-season to arrive fully prepared for the first race of the year. A fantastic effort from everyone. I’m proud of you all.”
